Good luck  to both of you.  First impressions are always important. I  actually used to dress  down during job interviews. t shirts and jeans and still got the job but now it is all about appearance  :)

Wishing you luck with the job interview.  Since you've never done one like this maybe it might be a good idea to get someone to do a "mock up" interview online.   Do a video chat with a friend to get comfortable doing it via video.   Get them to ask you some interview questions and practice just generally being comfortable with the video.

Good luck Azanne07 with your interview.  I have never heard of a video interview, but times are changing for everything.  I just saw my company have a Hiring notice go up on Facebook.

Make sure you dress and look professional from the waist up.  Prepare just as you would for any interview. They'll be seeing a lot of your facial expressions and your voice intonations.  Good luck! Oh, and turn off your phone and go to the bathroom beforehand so you won't have to excuse yourself!

Best of luck to you. My daughter did a video chat job interview. She was very pleased with it and got the job.

Maybe you can practice beforehand so that you feel confident with the process. Here are some tips I received when I did a video job interview... Double check your audio, video and internet connection, pick a distraction free background, make sure you're in a well lit room, make eye contact and dress as you were doing the interview in person.  Good luck!
