email from Fusion
« on: October 06, 2018, 03:09:20 pm »
Has anyone ever received an email from Fusion requesting that you very your identity because of unusual activity on your account? They want last 4 of SS or DL # and I really hesitate to do that in case its a scam. How do I have unusual activity and how does that request prove my identity?

In all the years that I have been a member of Fusion Cash, I can honestly say that I never remember any such emails.

If I ever did, I would copy it and send it with a support ticket straight to admin.

There are way too many scams and I have a hard time trusting any emails of that nature.

I have only been here for roughly six months, but I have never received such an e mail. I agree that you should contact the support team, and to be safe, do not click on any links in the e-mail or reply if there are legitimate suspicions. Like others have said, I too do not trust all e mails, so contacting support is probably the best move. Also, make sure the e mail is actually from FC and not someone pretending to be them.

I also have never heard of that.   I'd contact admin. and see if they sent it.  Either that or ignore it and if it is something important for FC then they will get in touch again. 8)

I have been on this site for a decade and have NOT received such an email. I have only provided additional information when I've had to provide a W9 for tax info. Otherwise, if your account says you are in good standing there is no reason to send that.

Someone posted something similar to this on another board.  Was it you?  I did reply.

I would want to know what the suspicious activity was. I have been on Fusion Cash many years and a very few other members have had similar problems while on FC. Myself, my account was restricted for two full weeks part of June and July of this year "for security reasons". I was never told what the reason or problem was even though I opened a ticket.

I've never received an email like that, the only emails I receive from Fusion Cash is the Daily Email and invitations to surveys.   What was the sender address?

Sounds like a scam. I would highly consider changing your password for both your email account and your FusionCash account (and any other place that uses the same password as those to). It might prevent this from happening again.

No, I never had and would not provide the info if I did receive such an email! I would contact  support and fill out a ticket to make them aware of the situation. So many scams out there today!!!!

I don't even think that when I sighed up for Fusion Cash I gave them my Social Security number. That sounds like a fake email to me. Maybe you should report that too Fusion Cash.
