I tried it  a couple of times not bad.  Not really sweet but is messy as you have to clean out all pods in it.  It is hard to find here in the Midwest and when you do it usually is so big that you have to ask someone at the store if they will cut a asection off and most stores will do.  Have see it as large as 8 lbs but never purchase that much

          I've not ever heard of Jack fruit.    I would try it if I ever saw it or someone has it for me to try. Everybody has different taste.

wow the pics of the jack fruit are huge. I had this fruit but in a can was sweet that is all I remember.

I've never tried it but would love to since if offers so many benefits...Improves immunity, replenishes energy, ensures a better cardiovascular health and a regulated blood pressure, improves digestion and strengthens bones!

Very interesting. I will have to check into this. I have never tried Jack fruit but would be willing to if the health benefits are for real.

Countless types of fruits in the world, and at the grocery store I think most of us only ever buy the same apples, oranges, bananas. I keep meaning to find some international markets in town and taste a few things that are brand new to me.
