Suicide affects everyone regardless of their income.  I have no idea why those 3 killed themselves.  Their family and friends might have an idea as they knew them and probably saw changes happening to them.  Some people kill themselves for financial reasons, lost love, major health problems, family situations, who really knows.  It's just sad for the family.

Fame and fortune doesn't buy happiness. I bet if we looked at the numbers, we'd find suicides of wealthy people to be at about the same rates as suicides of your average Joe. I have anxiety and depression myself but have never been suicidal. Suicide is a permanent end to a temporary problem. There are lots of solutions to psychological issues -- the most effective I have found is medication, but everyone's different so just because something works for me doesn't mean it will work for other people. What is important is to never give up hope.

I don't believe that Anthony Bourdain killed himself, nor Robin Williams. Maybe I'm wrong. When you take your own life the connection is mental illness. It's not normal to take your own life.

Robin Williams hung himself. I do not know who the other person is.

Money doesn't shield you from mental disorders and bad things happening.

It affects all groups, we just hear about the rich and famous....they sell news magazines, newspapers, and get viewers to watch the TV news.

Maybe it isn't for us to understand what happened or why. Mental Illness is horrible, I have depression, severe anxiety and panic disorder. Hopefully one day we can be free from mental illness.

   Money cannot buy happiness.
Rich people suffer as much as poor people...
   Their suffering is just different!

Why do you suppose it is that wealthy people with psychological disorders sometimes end up killing themselves? They
clearly have enough money to try all available psychological and psychiatric option available to help themselves. It is my opinion that they reach a point where their psyc problems have not been resolved, they can't think of any more options to resolve them, so find suicide a rational choice. I also think that all of them did, in reality, have even more options but they were not able to figure out what they would be.

Hello! :D :)

It doesn't matter how much money you have what matters is how strong your mind is. Money doesn't help you escape your problems sometimes it creates problems. Money can't buy happiness and a peace of mind though some have tried. May we all find peace at some point in our life. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

Why do non wealthy individuals commit suicide?  There are a lot of directions you could go in answering that question, but it doesn't have to do with money.  It's all mental.  The reasons are no different for wealthy and non wealthy suicides.

Probably not. My cousin committed suicide a few weeks ago and his closest family did not see it coming and have no idea WHY he done it.  They/we have ideas but that is it.

Neither do pills.  And these days doctors try to push pills for anything on every one.  A pill doesn't make the problems go away and if you look people who are on antidepressants and anxiety meds have to have more and more to cope with life.  They would be better off if they never started the pills to start with.

By the way, I do not believe in suicide.
"Suicide is nothing more than a homicide
provoked or facilitated by a third party".
Once you know this truth...you will know
how to protect yourself and your life.
