This is so sad, they were an icon store back in the day; I saw a list somewhere online  of the ones slated to close and the one in our area is on the list so I will be looking out for some good deals; so many people shop online now days but I still prefer going to the physical store. I think a lot of major stores may follow as they can't seem to compete with the online stores and the numerous customers that prefer to shop that way.

I never did shop for clothing or housewhole decor items. However, i did like their appliances. In my experience with them they last quite a long long time.

I was in there about 5 months ago and they were going out of business then.  Of course that was the one where I live, but I was told by an employee that it was all of them.

Can't remember the last time I shopped at Sears. I feel bad for the workers who are losing their jobs.

It's been a while since I have been there - know they have been around for a while...seems like more and more of these are happening

I liked sears and Kmart. They just couldn’t survive with online shopping. Pretty soon shopping malls will be all restaurants.

It's sad to see all the all time favorite stores filing bankruptcy now a days. It just shows you how much of a deficit this country is in! Sad!

It seems as if a lot of physical stores are being shut down nowadays. If so, I guess that could save room for more private residences!

Um There just closing some stores to restructure there not completely gone i hope they can turn it around they need to make an identity for them self again and stick with it. They shot them self in the foot by selling not just there products but a lot of other company's to which were cheaper then there's. Also there stint in malls have had a part in there decline to much to rent from the mall to even be there they be better off in an independent store lot compared to a mall. In retrospect sears failed to change with the times and now there being left behind
