Do you own a full breed or a mutt?

I have 2 mixed breeds that are both part lab. I am also dogsitting a mixed breed. I dont like the term mutt very well. I dont wanna pay for a full breed it only encourages the over population and they seem to have more medical problems than a mixed breed does.

i don't have a dog anymore!   :-[

when i was a kid, i had a full bred chocolate lab. my parents gave him to me as a puppy but apparently had no idea how large labs get because they had to give him away when he got too big for our apartment.

then, as a teenager, we had a golden retriever-lab mix, that we also had to give away, this time because my little brother was allergic.

and about 7 years ago i got my son a chow-mation that we had for about 3 years, and then we had to move so we let my uncle have him.

We don't have a dog anymore, but have our daughter's cat in our house while she is off at Basic Training.

Over the years we have had Schnauzers,  a Westie, and a blue healer.

As kids, we had mutts on the farm.

We own a purely breed chocolate labrador. He's spoiled and is hungry all the time.
