I went to Walmart and got some stuff that I needed. Other than that, I relaxed at home.

I really only buy things I need but honestly I hate the rudeness of the holidays.  Crowds, okay but it seems the holidays just bring out the meanness in people.  I looked on-line for things and couldn't pass on some half-off stuff but other than that I wait until after the holidays or start holiday shopping way before like in Aug.

I did not do any holiday shopping at all. I was out of the country for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, and nothing I was interested in for Cyber Monday. I don't buy many gifts and don't like shopping, so not many temptations.

I like to do discount shopping, even when its not a holiday.

This year when shopping I really took advantage of the usual Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, but I also wanted to purchase from places that would do something productive and compassionate with the profits. I got a beautiful bracelet for my mom on The Animal Rescue Site shop, and bought a few items from the Animals Asia shop.  Besides that, I also prioritized buying handmade and vegan/cruelty-free items. I hope more people do the same! Things like this do a lot of good, without having to just donate directly.

    I went to my local department store...
    and even regular prices were 80% off.
    Great deals...great bargains!

I find that odd.  Everyone I have encountered has been really nice and friendly.  The only nasty I have seen is from customer service reps online.  And that was calls that were transferred to India or "Central America" which ever country that is.  Not sure why she needed to keep telling me she was in Central America.
