Going back to bed
« on: December 09, 2018, 07:19:40 am »
It is nasty weather here in central Florida - no I'm not comparing it to snow and sleet some of you suffer but it is raining and cold (by our standards anyway) and one I get my son to work and get home I am going back to bed and take myself a little nap.  Everyone have a good day no matter what you do.

It has done nothing but Rain since Friday here in Georgia and it is so cold. All I want to do is stay in the bed when the Weather is like this. It is so Depressing.

It is just snow. They have been warning about this snow storm for quite some time.  Nobody is suffering.  So you have to stay at home for a couple days. Not that big of a deal.

I did start to take a nap a few minutes ago but somehow found myself back on the computer trying to make a few pennies. lol

There are many folks without power, some of them elderly.  I wouldn't say "nobody is suffering".

Sounds like a great plan and a perfect day to take a nap.   Enjoy

Going back to bed sounds pretty inviting to me today.  I even got to sleep in since I didn't have to work today.  I did go to church, now that I'm fed, I am just plain tired.
Rainy or snowy/sleety or just "gray" days can take all the energy out of a person.

Looks like the south is getting the weather that we usually have here in the Midwest.  It is cold here but no snow or rain.  Sorry that weather is bad down there but glad it is not here.

I live in cold country: Alaska- Near the Arctic Circle.
Oh, baby...it is cold outside! So, I hibernate...like many
animals do.  Most of our jobs are good weather related:
Construction, travel, tourism, training and much more.
So, I prepare my igloo (cabin, hotel room or apartment)
in advance. Supplies, reading materials, arts and crafts...
anything that I will do indoors. And voila! I will have no
weather related problems. Today it is cold and sunny.  :)

It's nasty in Tennessee as well. We kept hearing about this winter storm headed our way, but I think it missed us.  We got stuck with rain and cold temperatures, but not enough cold to produce snow!  We cancelled a trip to norhern Georgia because the forecast was so bad, but now it looks like we could have gone.  Still, it wouldn't have been fun in all the rain!

Sounds like a good plan, whenever the weather is like that, I prefer to just stay inside; so enjoy!

Curl up with a good book, or put on some music, call some friends.....Soon enough you will be back in the sunshine.  Happy Holidays!

I live in PA and it was cold today, no snow, but I guess no where as cold as you have.  Do you live in Barrow or Utqiagvik as it's now known?

I feel that way at times.

I am always afraid I won't sleep at night if I do  I am a light sleeper.

I have family in Florida. They talk like temps in the 40's or 50's are sooooo cold

That is just autumn weather where I am, and you just put on a light jacket.

Cool weather to me is time to go out and enjoy. We are all so different
