Apples or Pears?

A “Fries or Onion Rings” discussion got started, so I thought about introducing a similar topic (but about foods more heathful). Which pome fruit(s) do you like better? I’ll say pears for now.

I'm an apple guy, but I do like pears.

I like them both. But it seems that apples are my go to when the pears aren't ripe enough to eat right away.  Since i work in a grocery store it's convenient to just jump over to produce and grab a fresh piece of fruit.  I enjoy pears or apples with a ham steak... mixed with cornstarch, cinnamon and sugar for a a cream texture allowing the fruit to get a little soft.  OH YUM - I haven't made that in years.  With a sticky white rice or risotto.

I really love both but I eat apples more often. I think it's more difficult to find a good tasting pear.

        I love them both. I have to be in the mood for one or the other. If its pie of course I'd eat apple pie any day. I haven't heard of pear pie yet, but as people make a bunch of different foods this fruit might just get made into a pie.

I like them both, so I don't have a favorite. But i like to freeze the sweet can pears.

I like both, but if I had to choose one I would take the apple

I prefer apples.  I have tried pears but didn't like them so I will stick to my apples, preferably Red Delicious

Pears, actually. It's funny I eat apples all the time and pears not so much, but in truth the apples are not very good. I feel like I haven't had in apple that actually tasted appley since I was a kid. They are just what I'm in the habit of eating I guess.

Apples !!!!  I can eat one every day if I had them.   love the big red ones tho my favorite
