I have been filing my taxes for a couple of years now and I love it. My taxes are easy to do so I rather do them myself and keep all of my money. There are also places that do them for free. I don't like to pay someone to do something that I can do for myself.

I used to file our taxes but when went with an accountant over the past few years. He has been able to get more money back for us than I ever could.

I always did them myself but as the e-file came to be the way,  Turbo Tax has the free online to file the simple return and that worked well quick and fast

No, I can't do it because my math skills are retarded & so bad! I let my Older sister do it, because, she had banking & financing skills.

You do not need math skills.  All you have to do is go to irs.gov and I am pretty sure they have everything on their site. You just answer the questions.  Or use one of the other softwares that has been mentioned.  It isn't like it use to be when you done it on paper with a pencil and you had to add and subtract lines.  You just in put the info and the computer does the rest.

Yes, I do.  It's cheaper and easy for me to complete.

Yes I use turbo tax.  Back in the day I would do it by hand.

We have an Accountant to do our Taxes because we are Farmers and Self-Employed and there are so many Forms to fill out. I do not understand a lot of the Forms, so we just let our Accountant handle our Taxes.

Yes, I file my taxes online. They lead you through the whole process so it's easy and a lot less expensive.

My youngest son, who can ill afford to, pays somewhere between $100 and $200 every year to file his taxes. I can't convince him to even try doing it online.

Go figure.
