No. Even I love my dog so much don't allow my pug to lick my face. He knows it also and don't do it. If he is so happy for what I am doing with he just like me to touch his head.

Uh personally no -  not even my much loved and adored shih tzu  -  now my sons would but no I wouldn't.  I read a story recently about someone dying from being licked by a dog - I don't know I am just not up for that lol.

I'm more of a cat person, and yes, my cats do lick me. LOL

Ref my comment in another thread - I knew you had something with fur lol.  Could not remember if it was a cat or a dog.

There is a difference in licking you and licking you in the mouth.  I have had dogs lick me in the face not necessarily on purpose on my part but just letting them lick my mouth I probably would not go for that.  Cause dogs eat some nasty stuff. lol

I choose to live life not being a hypochondriac.

I think there is a middle ground here. Just because someone is opposed to a dog's face licking or is extra careful about hygiene and germ awareness doesn't make them a hypochondriac!  (I know you were probably trying to exaggerate to make a point).

I am happy (within reason) to allow a friendly or excited dog jump up on me if they are trying to to be friendly or get attention, but I will resist any facial kisses.

Also I have to laugh at those who comment that dogs' mouths are cleaner than other people's mouths (which may very well be true). I laugh because, generally speaking, I do not allow/tolerate random strangers who come up and forcibly tongue kiss me either!
 ;)

I try not to but my dog is fast when it comes to him showing me affection.  We have really done little to nothing to stop him from doing it.  It's not something I like but he gets away with it.

Absolutely not, I do not want to be licked by my dog or my cats, nor any human being...

So disgusting. I do not. I had a cat and she was licking her tail and accidentally licked my leg. So nasty. Not sure how people can do this, especially when animals lick their private area.

:)      ;D       :) Mostly I don't care for a dog that licks my face, just a strange feeling. If they happen to catch me off guard and happen to lick my face cause they're a dog  :dog:  then they do it. I will try my best to avoid the dog nose's.   :)     ;D      :)

People are funny. There is fecal matter on literally everything you touch: remote controls, telephones, keyboards, light switches, shopping carts, the coffee pot at work, your cutting board, and on and on. You're already covered in poop particles before the dog even licks you.

Not really a dog person.  I guess I don't like the hyper jump all over you and lick you in the face out of nowhere that you get with so many dogs (I know lack of training is not the dogs fault but....).  I have cats I don't mind some licks just not to the face from any animal because it is too easy for teeth or claws to follow

I never had let dog lick my face or mouth. I don't like it for some reason. but this new dog I got 6 mos back is not a great big licker... but he does some sniffing and occasionally gives kisses n the face. I couldn't stop him, Glad its only occasional. LOL

Not even if you think you have a clean one lol. When that happens it is a pure mistake on my part.  :bad:
