I am not sure, but I guess 15 years and I am ready to buy a new one.  Back beginning to hurt.

I just replaced mine. It was 17 years old. I hear that you need to replace after 8 years old.

Got mattress from American Mattress Man!

When someone gives me a new one.  Other than that, we can't afford a new mattress.  They're too expensive.

We change ours every 7-8 years. We have a Saatva now and love it. It is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on.

I purchased a very good mattress years ago so that I would not have to replace it every 2 years or more.  It's still in good shape.

We had to replace our mattress cause we couldn't rid of baby's pee smell out of our mattress. If not that case I would never replace it. Didn't want to waste my money. I made a study before we bought the best futon mattress (I used this site) from Amazon.

So long as you flip it and turn it it should last many years. ours was maybe 15 years before we bought another

I say after ten years, change it but honestly, when your back, sides, neck start to hurt every morning then change it.  I flipped the mattress every time I changed the sheets but when I woke up each day with back pain, that mattress had to go.  So, when your body tells you it's time, it's time.  Until then, just flip the mattress when the sheets are changed.

If they weren't expensive I would replace it yearly or 2. I have never saved up for one before hand but will do this.

I just bought a new mattress. The one I had before was given to me and I had it for almost five years. I think they say you should replace your mattress every eight years, but there are many people who keep them for much longer. I plan to keep mine for about ten years.

I flip my mattress every month, which I think helps it to last longer.

One could definitely last long if you take good care of it just keep the sheets and blankets clean and don't wear and tear on it too much but i'm sure it feels good to get a new one after a while so probably just when doing some renovating you might want to get a new one while you're at it  8)
