I'm not a seafood fan so we never go to Red Lobster.  Give a good old steak and potato meal and I'm happy.

I agree with several of the posts that stated that the food quality has diminished while the prices have increased. We generally avoid franchise/chain restaurants and prefer to go to smaller venues with dishes that are more unique. Restaurants are always pricier than cooking at home and I prefer to save money.I have to move my parents to an assisted living facility and they have a few hundred cook books that I am looking forward to reviewing. I started taking my wife out to new restaurants (every three weeks or so) about four months ago but she was not very appreciative so I began going by myself. I have met a lot of foodie friends which has lead me to some truly amazing restaurants. I live within twenty miles of Denver (in Colorado) and we have a great many restaurants.

I don't eat there much, but if I go, it is usually for dinner. And yes, the biscuits are a must no matter what time of day! YUM

You do know you can get those at Walmart in a box and make them yourself don't you?  They are pretty good.  I have not ate at Red Lobster in a long time so I don't know the difference if they are not as good. They have two varieties.  The cheddar are the best.  The other one is okay but I wouldn't get it if the cheddar is available.

We dont have Red Lobster in the town I live in but they have one in the next town over from me.  I love their shrimp and their rolls.  I love sea food.  We do have a Captain D's here and I like their fish dinners.  Have a wonderful weekend.

If you have no picnic ideas, you can use my favorite recipe.
Marinade For Grilled Shrimp

It is not very complicated.

We do not have either in my home town.  We, it seems like, use to have a Captain D a long time ago but it didn't make it.  I like them but they are more expensive than Long John's.   I don't eat out much any more but I would like to see a Chick-fil-a come to my town.  But we already have KFC and Bojangles.

I almost always get a cup of clam chowder and a shrimp cocktail. Delicious and not as expensive.

I would love to go to Red Lobster but my husband doesn't eat sea food.  It has been so long since I have been to one, I don't even remember what's on their menu.  :sad1:
