We are in a winter weather advisory again.....this time a Wind Chill Advisory.

It's COLD.

Temperature is -11.
The "real feel" is -26.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.

The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Wow, it's cold!! It's pretty cold here in New York too. I can't wait until it warms up a bit!

After seeing photos of the frozen Chicago River yesterday I cannot imagine braving temps (or windchills) like that.  It's got to be bad when the postal service stops delivering the mail.  The temp at this point has climbed up to 1 degree.  Now here comes the snow!

I think the lowest it got where I live in mid-Michigan was 35 below zero including the wind chill. Right now, on Friday, it is 6 above with no wind chill.  Finally! Believe it or not, it is predicted to be 46 and 50 degrees on Sunday and Monday respectively.  The weather is crazy.  I am sure ready for the warmer weather so I hope it is right.  However, it is also supposed to bring some rain,and with the overnight temps there may be some really bad roads with the freezing!
