Looking for suggestions on my diet

So i just found out that i have pancreatis .Dr. said i have to change my diet .looked on the internet all i can find is lentills ,black beans and no greasy foods.that sure doesnt tell me a whole lot .Anyone have any suggestions on what i can have?

I would ask your doctor to recommend a dietitian that can help you.  My daughter is a dietitian and depending on what else is going on or different medications she recommends different diets.  Since I don't know the whole history of your health I cannot ask her because I know she would want more details.

My girlfriend has pancreatitis and she has to avoid milk products and steak when we eat out together. I know that's not a big help to you but it's something. 

She's had some pretty bad pain due to her pancreatitis. I'm sorry you're suffering with that, but it doesn't sound like you're suffering too badly.

I heard sweet potatoes can be good for the pancreas you might want to look into that. Sorry, but good luck
