Thanks for the heads up.  I try to keep up with what has been recalled but it is almost impossible.

I guess they count on enough of us being too lazy to take that bad product right back to the store and ask for our money back. I may be lazy but I am even more cheap, and they can buy their spoiled product right back from me!

I don't have to worry about the recall on Gold Medal Flour because when I buy flour I buy the store brand because it is cheaper and works just as well.

Wow... It seems there are so many recalls today that it's almost scary and you really have to pay attention. I hadn't heard of some of these recalls!

Thanks for the heads up - even though it doesn't affect me directly.

I don't have to worry about the recall on Gold Medal Flour because when I buy flour I buy the store brand because it is cheaper and works just as well.

The store brands are made by National Chains.  For example Conagra who makes Beenie Weenies use to also make the Walmart brand of Beenie Weenies.  So yeah you might need to worry about it.

I don't know of any "generic" products where they have their own factory.  Most all the products are made by a Nationally known company.

Yeah they say if you have this product "throw it away".  No, you can give me my money back.  Why should the consumer have to take the hit?

There sure have been a lot of recalls lately. I have been afraid to eat lettuce, now flour and even medicine.

lol Yeah I bought a head of lettuce yesterday and I thought about is it safe to eat it?  Usually it is the bagged lettuce more than the heads of lettuce.  If I lived on a farm I would try to grow all the veggies I could.

I have a friend that hardly ever shops at the grocery store.  She grows everything.  They have chickens for eggs and chicken meat.  And they raise cows so they have beef.

It is becoming very disconcerting how many recalls there now are all the time. Used to seem like it was very rare now something on my grocer's website every single week. Thanks for the information.
