The beef frank links items were produced on May 2, 2019. The following products are subject to recall:
10-lb. cases containing "Skinless Beef Franks 6" 8's 10#" with case code 013180 and package code 9122 represented on the label.

The problem was discovered by the establishment and reported to FSIS.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in food service refrigerators or freezers. Food service institutions who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. When available, the retail distribution list(s) will be posted on the FSIS website at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls.
Consumers and members of the media with questions about the recall can contact Tom McGlade, VP of Marketing, Vienna Beef Ltd., at (773) 435-2204.

Wow, I'm surprised Panera bread had a recall. I only ate at the restaurant one time.

How does flour get salmonella?
The potential for exposure to Salmonella in raw flour by eating uncooked baking mixture has been demonstrated by a significant outbreak of salmonellosis linked to contaminated flour in New Zealand. The samples of flour tested in this outbreak investigation had low counts of. Salmonella.

I don't like product recalls, but know they are necessary. I sometimes wonder about the quality control of the company when these issues happen. I feel like the customers should get refunded if they have to discard a product they paid for. I feel like the worse situation I heard of that should have been recalled was when Johnson and Johnson found trace amounts of asbestos in their talcum powder and released it anyway despite knowing this. They ended up in a class action lawsuit due to women who used it getting cancer. That was really tragic.

Quality Control?  People are stupid and do not care.

Explain how a line can run for almost 3 full shifts before anybody notices that the wrong labels are on the cans.  I mean they are checked every hour.

OR

How a product can run for over 2 full shifts and is suppose to have green peppers in it but it has red peppers instead and with it being checked every hour NOT ONE PERSON notices the wrong kind of pepper is in the product.  SO it all has to be thrown out.

People just do not care.  It is just a job.  They are there to collect a pay check and do not care if it is right or wrong or if somebody gets sick or hurt.  Human life doesn't mean any thing any more.

Not only should you get a refund but also a complementary dr visit.

I also agree. If I buy something and they say its a recall, I am gonna get a refund. I work for my hard earned money and I am not gonna throw it away. Let the store get credit for it :)
