Probably 1 to days as well. I have had many days where I may get 2 hours tops.

I have many sleepless nights,  When I found out my son had cancer I didn't sleep for almost 3 days and nights. Just couldn't  close my eyes without  worrying about him.  Finally went to sleep  when I was lying down with my grandson and he was cuddled in my arms. God those days and weeks were the hardest I think I have  ever endured. Still hurts even though he has been gone for 18 years,  I had already lost one son and it took a long time to get over it also. Parents shouldn't have to lose their children, But when God  calls someone home  we must trust his judgement.

24-30 hours before 1 or 2 hours of sleep (whether planned or not)

Hello!

The longest I've been up is for 2 days. I stayed up for work as I know if I fall asleep I wouldn't be able to wake up.

During some very stressful times in my life I have remained up for close to 48 hours.  I would try to sleep, feel tired, but just couldn't actually sleep. Funny thing, when I finally did sleep, I only slept about 4-5 hours.  When your mind and body become overly stressed, it just doesn't allow you to remain at rest for long.  It can really take a toll!
