I quit. Once a year I bum a cigarette from someone as a test.  Smoking it (or trying to) is painful and I know I won't go back to it.

I smoked for 15 or so years. Quit in 2007 and have absolutely no desire to ever do it again.

Congrats!!!  :present:  You have excellent will power; I've heard it's hard to quit but I think it's mind over matter.

I smoked a black and mild or two around the time I was 19 but nothing occasional.  I'm glad I didn't get heavily into the habit.

I just quit smoking and move to vape, and I can feel the difference between those two. It is much better, and with the mod, I have bought from an online store with best vape mods ever, I bought a lot, but these made to like them. Yesterday I took a juice with tobacco and alcohol something unusual for real and bit of fresh apple.

At the time my friends began to smoke I was dating a guy who had asthma. could not smoke around him and luckily I never did pick up the habit.

For 42 years now.  Trying to quit.  So hard.  Quit once cold turkey for 5 days and the withdrawals were so horrible, I went back to smoking. :(

It takes time.. just make sure you see your doctor every year and keep up with your health.

Unfortunately, I still smoke.  I have plans to be done with them by the end of August.   I am looking forward to being smoke free.  I have quit several times over the years and I will admit it gets harder.    Congrats to you for stopping.

I don't smoke, but I don't judge the people who smoke. My grandparents smoke all their life.
