Former Member returning after 6 years
« on: March 26, 2019, 10:24:50 pm »
I previously was a member of FC for about 2 years but have been inactive the last 6 years.

I decided to rejoin, but since its been so long and my demographics are different, and I do not know what has changed or remember much of what's the same, I made a new account.

I do not wish to be banned for having 2 accounts!!   My previous one was inactive over about 6 years, except one log in to see if my cashout history was still saved (which it was and is what convinced me to restart on FC after seeing how much $ I'd made).
If an admin must strip me of my $5 sign up bonus, so be it, it is better than losing my new account. However I would love to keep it of course (I am a born-again member, does that count?  ;) )

Welcome Home.

Did you cancel your first account? I am of the impression that you can only open one account in a lifetime and if you cancel your membership, you can never open another account.

I will be interested in your observations about Fusion Cash from when you were active 6 years ago and the present.

I'm not sure why you opened a new account if you could still get into your old one and check it... seems like you could of still used it.... I'd send in a ticket and see what they say before there is problems... and yes, let us know about your observations
and on a different note just for everyone else, TapResearch is crediting again!!

I don't think I remembered to cancel it.. If your impression is correct I am glad, as I do not want to be permenantly unable to use FC! I am unsure if I should log on and cancel it, so this account is my only one, or if that would do as you say and bar me from FC.
The way I see it, either I'll be allowed to use this account (maybe an admin deletes my old one?) OR they make me cancel this one and return to the original, which would SUCK as I've already done a bunch of offers, including the Magazine one in which I spent $2.

I'm not sure why you opened a new account if you could still get into your old one and check it... seems like you could of still used it.... I'd send in a ticket and see what they say before there is problems... and yes, let us know about your observations

I opened a new account because I wanted to start fresh, my demographics are WAY different, new age, new education, new jobs worked, new interests and hobbies, etc. I did not want previous activity on my old account to bar me from surveys that I may be a match for now, that I wasn't back then, and things like that. Plus I wanted to start my stats over, use a new user name, have a new current banner / referral links, and use a new email (as my other is full of spam and outdated - took forever to remember its password)

Yes, I probably could have just restarted on that old account, but wanted a fresh start and did not think it would be an issue as only ONE account will be active in my household. I understand the $5 sign up bonus may be an issue, which is why I said an admin can take it away, void it, whatever, I will not be upset. I am posting this in the forum to be open and honest about it, so it doesn't look like some sneaky thing.

You said sent a ticket.. How? I do not remember how to do this.. another example of why I'm a newbie again lol

Not sure how long I have been a member but I doubt if I will ever totally quit. This is an easy way to make some spending money or as I call it "free money" that I do not have to use on bills. I wish I could find another way to accomplish the same so I had multiple ways to make extra cash without leaving my home

Update:
I have sent a Support Ticket detailing the situation. It has only been a day since I sent it, so I am patiently awaiting a response.

The way I see it there are 4 scenarios that may unfold.

1) They allow me to keep this account and keep going, but they strip me of my $5.00 Sign-up Bonus (as I suggested to them). They may also delete my old account (I never did, only logged on the 1 time in the last 6 years)

2) They make me switch back to my old account. To compensate for the work done so far on this account, they credit that account with a bonus credit that does not apply to the $15.00 in offers requirement. The reason it should be a bonus credit is to make it easy for them to simply apply a single credit rather than each individual offer. And I have no problem having to restart the offer requirment, even though I have already reached it. It is sort of a slap on the wrist for having made my (honest) mistake and not carefully reading the Terms again.

3) The make me switch back to my old account. They do not compensate for the work done on this account at all.

4) They ban me from FusionCash entirely for having violated the Terms of Service. They delete both accounts and either ban me for a period of time or forever.

I really hope one of the first two listed scenarios is what occurs. I think they are reasonable, fair, and realistic.

I really hope one of the last two listed scenario is NOT what occurs. I think they are harsh, especially the last one.
Yes, I did something wrong, however it was an honest mistake. I posted on the forum and sent a support ticket to them (a more direct communication, thank you rwhite17 for the suggestion). I did this to inform them and let them know there were no ill intentions.

I will be interested in your observations about Fusion Cash from when you were active 6 years ago and the present.

and yes, let us know about your observations

When I used to be active, I was pretty active. I had a streak of at least 6 months of cashing out at an average of about $35-$40 per month, some months over $50. Other than that streak I still cashed out every 2-3 months.

Since re-joining on the 25th, about a week ago, I have made $16.57 as of now NOT including the $5 sign-up bonus, so mostly in offers. This seems to be around a little bit higher than my previous pace, but it also includes enthusiastic survey work, invigorated by a renewed freshness to it.

What is new and what is different to me:

TapReach Daily Surveys and receiving DQ bonuses over $0.01 (have gotten up to about $0.18).
Mobile / Tablet offers.
The Tasks section seems to be through a new provider (dont know if for better or worse, have not done any).
The Paid to Listen radio is no longer an option.
There are seemingly a lot less Paid to Sign-up offers (although I have not checked out TrialPay, which is described as having multiple offers).
There are still a good number of survey options, I believe some of the same providers (but of course all the surveys are new, I doubt any are still going 6 years later).
Mostly the rest seems to be the same. The FC surveys started not to long before my hiatus, I think.

Welcome Home.

welcome back

Great to have you back.

Thank you all!  ;D

Welcome back to FC, I hope the admins understand your situation and allow you to go forward, you are being very upfront about it and have offered several solutions.  My guess is that the rule regarding only being allowed 1 account per person is in place to prevent abuse of the program by habitual  "quitters" who re-join to get the $5 bonus.  Since that does not apply to you and you understand that the bonus may be revoked, I think they should make an exception.  My 2 cents, for what its worth.  :)  Good luck to you -- let us know how things work out.

That sure is a long time night being on Fusion Cash. I am on here everyday. I could not imagine not being on here for so long.

Update:
It has been about 3 weeks and still no response to my support ticket. I asked in the forum how long it takes to receive a response to a support ticket, and was disappointed to hear it can take a very long time, with some saying they never got a response months later.

So, since I have no idea how long it will take to get a response (if ever), I am going to go ahead and cash out. I am at $31.00 total. I figure this way I will find out one way or the other come the 20th of May when I'm due to receive the payment. Either I get the payment with no issue, or they block it and finally respond to my support ticket, or at least inform me of why / tell me what I can do (essentially answering the support ticket).

Hopefully there are no issues, I get the payment, and can continue on FC with peace of mind.
I will update this thread one more time when I get my payment (or hear from FC about this issue).

Welcome back!  I too took a break for a few years and I used the same login.  I guess everyone needs a break now and then.  :glasses-nerdy:

Not everyone needs a break, I would miss all the fun and money.
