Have has a Kenmore for about 18 years and not a single problem.  Cheaper than some of the high ones but works just as well

We never had a gas stove before. I really always wondered what one was like? :cat:

Depends on what you can afford and get that one.  If you can afford the most expensive one than get it.

I miss our gas stove! It's so much better than electric. Changing the temp is instant versus waiting for the electric burner to heat up or cool down. We have electric in our apartment now. It's a flat top so clean up is super quick and easy, but I'd still rather have a gas stove.

I had a gas stove and switched to electric, no I do miss the gas stove is much better stronger, cheaper too. At least I did not plug up the gas outlet because I want it back.

I'm not especially picky on brands.  I usually see what Consumers Reports says.  But if I can't find any information, I lean toward Kenmore.

I had a GE for 15 years and was really good, now I bought a Samsung and I love it, it has a double oven and you can actually turn the oven on and off with an app on the phone, it is very good.  But I really thing it is your choice depending on what you want

I have never had a gas stove so can't really help you there.  I have always been afraid of gas and never have had anything but electric. If I were in the market I would google top reviews for gas ranges.  It isn't always helpful to google reviews as I have for other stuff but that is all I know to do.

I have electric and wouldn't want a gas stove. Would be too afraid of something tragic happening. People can leave stoves on by accident you know.

Gas is best, better control of heat, any major brand is great.
