Yes that is a good thing. No more waiting for a temperature higher than 30. I also started on my back yard  project which is nice to get done.

May is one of my favorite months because I get to put out the plants I've been growing from seed since February. My plants are really raring to go this year - they've grown quite tall already and really need to be repotted or planted outside.

I am thankful that it is May. The spring where I live starts to feel more like spring since we struggle to get out of the coldness of winter. We do truly have all 4 seasons here and it's awesome to see flowers come out and bloom and the days get sunnier and warmer. There is another big reason why I love May. My birthday is May 15th and while I barely notice my birthday so much anymore it's nice to be in the land of the living becoming another year older.

Thanks so much for the well wishes. I will be turning 36 and it's hard for me to believe that I'm that close to 40. I still remember being a child back in the 80's and 90's and not being able to wait until I was 13, 16, then 18, then 21 and so on. I don't think I will be doing much this year for my birthday unfortunately. I'll likely just have some cake and that's it. I hope I can do something special next year and definitely do something special when I turn 40.

I Love the Month of May. The Weather is just right and it’s Mother’s Day and also my Son was born on Mother’s Day. I can’t wait to see what my Kids have in store for me this Year.

It's amazing how time flies. I heard the older you get the more you notice the days passing quickly. Since you are 62 does it seem like the days are moving faster than when you were younger? I think that once I got to my 20's I really noticed how quick time passes. I don't feel 36 in my mind. I feel like I am 25. I hope you have days when you do feel younger too. As for the cake, my mother is going to make one. It will be a yellow cake with sprinkles and vanilla frosting. I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you for the Merry May wishes and the post! Happy Birthday to de3ik! Thirty six is the new twenty! So much more life to live. I am twenty years older and have started living again (when I am not working). I am using vacation time and actually going places, seeing sites, treating my kids to adventures, and drinking from life's cup! I have seven weeks of vacation to burn, will use three to make maximum money at my second job and do some traveling. My daughter graduates in ten days so I will take some time off to get things ready around the house. We have fifteen family members flying in so it will be a full house. My daughter's class is quite tight so I would not be surprised if we see one hundred people show up to her graduation party. She takes off for Europe the next day.

My Mom always said that once you turn 25 the years will fly on by and boy was she right. Some days I feel 25 and others 80 lol. I'm thinking of age now as just a number. I am glad your Mom is making you a cake, have a bite for me :)
