Is cheating your spouse a way to know you really are in love with him or her? If so, who is lying to whom? The cheater to himself/herself when saying ILY, or tu their spouse? ???

Dear newbie. I think you know the answer to this question, and it's a pretty offensive question from my POV.  :-[

Now you're doing random posts, who would cheat and is it worth answering, either you love them or you don't, don't make cheating an excuse to test how someone feels about you.

Wait... what?!

I'm sure your spouse will be like, "oh honey, it's ok you cheated on me... you were just making sure you love me."

How can you really love them that much if you can't respect them or trust them enough to let them know it know what's really going on in your relationship regardless of you're just trying to protect their feelings.

This is the most asinine way to say that "I cheat on you to show you I love you".  Please say this isn't true and people don't actually use this cliche on the spouse.  No, it's because they have always cheated on you and will continue to do so.
