Concerts and shows
« on: June 02, 2019, 04:28:52 pm »
I go to most of the concerts this part of the year because they are outdoors. I also go to a few indoor sporting events. Do you do any of these activities? Always a good time unless it rains then we get soaked.

I love outdoor concerts, as long as the weather cooperates. My husband and I have been to a bunch of music festivals all over the country, and we only had rainy weather once in Chicago. I haven't been to any for a while, and I miss it.

We go to the ones in the area that free or really don't cost that much.  Have a free movie every week in the village and depending on what is playing we try to go.  Also my son's village offers discount pass for 4 concerts in his village ( not famous bands) so we also go to these.

I love going to concerts. It's honestly one of my favorite things to do in life.

It's been a while since I've been to a concert but just find out that Fleetwood Mac will be in concert on Sep 2 near where I live so a friend and I are making plans to go!

I would love to go to some concerts, but usually it is a major entertainer who I would be interested in seeing.  Since this is the case, the tickets are usually ridiculously priced (I don't want to sit so far back I can't really hear or see anything) or  I am not about to travel to where they are going to appear.  I no longer want to sit on a lawn or stand in a field where there are a lot of people getting rowdy and drunk.  That may have been of interest when I was much younger but now I want to be comfortable and hear and see the people I am paying for.

In February we went to Las Vegas and saw The Beatles LOVE at the Mirage. I have been to a lot of concerts and shows, but this one was at the pinnacle in both price ($90 a seat) and extravaganza. It was money well spent.

I have heard from quite a lot of people that this was a great show and worth the money too! we go to a few concerts and  lots of sporting events every year.  In the area we live there are lots of different venues at reasonable prices with good visibility to see the performers.

I love outdoor concerts too. A local college not too far from me sponsors a summer concert series outdoors where they bring in all different kinds of musicians. One week it'll be a jazz band and the next week a symphony - you never know what you are going to get, but it's always a lot of fun to listen to.

I do enjoy concerts and shows.  This year I experienced winter jam - it's the first concert my daughter has ever attended.  Than we went to see Sidewalk prophets.  They were so close to our little town it would have been silly not to have gone for the price of $15 a ticket.

I've never been too into concerts and I don't know why exactly. But I love going to local community theater events, including Shakespeare in the Park put on by a local acting company. I've even been in one outdoor show and hope to be in more in the future.

Me and my husband went to a concert last May 18 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Garth Brooks , 75,000 people.  So happy and very good songs. Love it.

I love going to concerts, whether indoor or outdoor. The atmosphere in the room is always so amazing. A bunch of people gathered around, having a good time, jamming out to the same music? It's fun.  ;D

I love concerts but haven't been to one in years.  Life intervened.
