Who do you look up to in your family
« on: July 18, 2019, 03:27:24 pm »
I look up to my grandma she is a hard worker she raised 7 grandkids, payed bills and many other things life was hard for her as i know for everyone else too. Seeing her never give up inspired me to try also. Shes a strong person had a rough childhood  but managed to pull through all the tough times that came her way.

Well I did look up to my maternal grandmother and my mom but I am 65 and both of them are passed on but they were both strong, hard working and family oriented women who never had much help in life.

I always looked up to my grandpa. He passed when I was 17 and I wish I would have had more time with him. There is so much I wish I would have asked him. He was an amazing man.

I have a cousin who is four years older than me.  She and her brother are my favorite cousins.  She's more of a sister to me than my half sisters whom I have zero relationship with.  My cousin always seems to have it together and I always looked up to her.

My mother is the person I look up to the most. She inspires me so much and she's taught me so much. I would not be who I am without her and words cannot describe how incredibly grateful I am to her  :)

My mom. She was a hard working woman who had five children. She taught us too many things to name. She has made me the caring woman I am today.

My Mother  has ben  gone  since 1978. But I have also said if I could be  half the woman she was I would be happy. And I try  really hard to be  like her. She was loved and respected all over  the country.  Had a big  giving heart and never  said a bad  word against anyone in front of us kids. Now  she may have under her breath. But we  didn't hear it. Now there in lays  my biggest problem.  If I don't luke what you have  done or said I will tell you  so.  But I  sure try not to.

My mother and my aunt.  They were different types of women, each with their own good qualities.

Since at 80 years old the view up is mostly faded as they all passed away, I prefer to look down and admire the progress my kids are making as they reach middle age.

I admire my brothers way to articulate his thoughts and convince people that he is right.  He is a pretty smart man.   We don't agree on most everything.
