Nope haven't seen it.  But I've heard nothing but good things about it.  I did however see Dumbo and Toy Story - I would recommend em both.  Hakuna Matata!

I'm going to see it soon. My prediction is that it will be visually amazing but inferior to the original in terms of storytelling, I feel like that's usually how these "live action" remakes go

No, I have no desire to support Disney remaking old classic films.

I'm also upset that they've stopped doing theatrically released 2D animated films.

I have no interest in it at all. The only live re-make I've seen is the Jungle Book. That was just okay.

I have not seen the new movie yet. I am a little afraid to see the new movie because I don't want it to be bad. The original animated cartoon version is my favorite cartoon movie of all time.
