Does your PetSmart have this?  Also 100pt when you check in with an associate! Check the times at your PetSmart, mine is 12p - 2p  but some are 12p - 3p

I went to this, and DID get free samples.  Although they have cut back alot, I managed to receive a 15oz can of special dog food (over 2.00) and a small sample of dry dog food.  Well worth the visit.  I will try and remind everyone next month too.
(Also, gave the scan card to cashier and got 100pts for checking in! When you reach 1000 you get a free treat)

The closest store to me is around 40 minutes away.  I figure events like this are pretty crowded so I probably would skip it even if I were in the area.

No, it's not crowded ( the extra 100pts a month are very welcome to this senior!!) and it's on Adoption Day, and there's a separate kiosk.  My PetsMart is right next to WinCo Foods and GoodWill, so easy to stop in and see the "adoptees" and scoop a freebie!

If it was not super crowded like most things are these days when people hear the word freebie- haha   I would stop by if it was near where I was any way.

I don't shop there.  I have started ordering my pet stuff from chewy.com  I just ordered food and need to order cat litter.  I would like to order all I can and avoid places like Walmart all I can....

I was at Walmart a few years ago and they had a stand set up and was giving away bags of the Beneful dog food.  It was enough for 1-2 eatings.  Depending on your dog.  I mixed it in with some other food.  So ours lasted at least 2.

What a cool way to get people into the store and get them shopping. Also to see the animals that are available for adoption I did not know this was happening with this be an every month thing or a one time event?

Every month on the first Saturday...call your local PetsMart to be sure it has this offer

Unfortunately taking my dog to a Petsmart or Petco isn't usually a good idea.  He is a great dog and loves all people and other animals but he always pees in the store.  Not good.

We have a Petco and a Pet Supplies Plus in town, but no Pet Smart. One was rumored to be coming a few years ago, along with several other stores in a new strip mall, but that construction plan fell through and it was never built.

I think the samples are random.  They have all kinds of pet stuff.  I would assume they could have samples of any thing.

We will check that out, we will get a new outside dog soon.
