Manual or Electric/Battery?
« on: August 04, 2019, 06:46:52 am »
Do you use a manual toothbrush or one that is electric/battery operated?  Dentists say that the toothbrushes that can make many more strokes per minute are more effective and that you need to brush your teeth for at least two minutes, I believe.  Which type toothbrush do you use?  Do you think electric/batter is more effective? Do you try to monitor how long you are brushing?

I have a rechargeable toothbrush.  I probably brush for one minute, although I've never really timed myself.

I have used an electric toothbrush for years, recommended by my dentist.

Right now I am using a manual toothbrush, but I usually use a rechargeable one. I have a new battery one, just waiting for replacement time and I will switch back over.

I use a manual toothbrush.  I had a battery one once but I wasn't really comfortable with it so I went back to manual.

I have an electric rechargeable toothbrush because it gives me way more strokes per tooth than just manual brushing. It feels more like I've been to the dentist after I finish using it.

I like manual toothbrushes the best. I have tried an electric one but feel as though the battery part was a pain and replacing was annoying. Rather just pay like 99 cents for one when I need a new one.

I have used an electric tooth brush for years.  You clean your teeth better and it's easier to use.

I use a manual toothbrush.  I have good checkups so I haven't considered changing to a battery powered one or electric toothbrush.

I have an electric/battery operated one. I use it twice a day and I have been using one for at least 15 years now.
