interacting
« on: August 06, 2019, 08:39:44 am »
Well today I was watching a talk show and wanted to see if I could get in on the conversation.  So  the best I could do was through another site.  Keeping in mind I thought the show was live.  Ok it was but the time zone makes the difference.  When I finally got to the page to answer the question, well I watched the show from the site faster than it was appearing on my t.v.  Hence the interaction was pretty worthless by this time.  It is good to know that I can watch from my computer at an earlier time and maybe then could get in on the action.   ;)So have you ever tried to interact with or some how been on a show?

I am not interested in these kinds of shows. Now for a live sports program I would have the same issue because there is a 5 minute delay on internet provided television. I do like some of the comments when I hear them.

When I was a kid I used to watch Romper Room.  At the end the teacher had this mirror and she's call out names like I see Jay, I see Suzy, I see Sam etc.  Well I would sit there and wave frantically at the tv thinking she could see me through the tv but she never called my name and I would always be so bummed she wouldn't call my name.

When my Kids were in School, I loved to sit and watch Talk shows all day long. Since I am older now, I have no interest at all in Talk Shows. They took a lot of my favorite Talk Shows off of the air and I think that has a lot to do with it.

Sometimes I'm willing to post a comment so I can share my point of view but I don't usually want to participate in a "live" situation with a group of people.
Have a great day!

I have never tried to do this type of thing and admire you for trying it. My hubby has called into talk radio shows before and he has been on the radio several times.
