Youngest, Middle, Oldest, or Only

I am the middle child of 7 kids - originally, 5 boys and 2 girls. I am very sociable and open-minded, but I can't say that has anything to do with my birth order. I also didn't experience “Middle Child Syndrome” and have never felt neglected by my parents or siblings.

I am the oldest  in my family. a brother 17 months younger and a sister 11 months younger then him. It seems like I was the one in charge of them from an early age. all I  ever heard  growing up was look after  your brother and sister, By the time I as 10 I was also doing some  cooking and helping mom all the time. I never really had a  childhood.  My parents split up when I was nine and I have  2  half brothers and 3 half sister.  I who was  a year older then my oldest son, a 1/2 sister   just older then my  youngest son and  a younger  1/2 sister 12 years  younger then my oldest  boy. Boy wat a  mess my real father  thought I should be  helping raise  his other family. Well that  was not going to happen.   I got married  instead.

Oldest child and one of the oldest amongst all my cousins....supposedly oldest are the "most successful" lol...I have felt at times that I was always the guinea pig though....always having to do/try things first and getting the most scrutiny until people learned from it...

I am the first born and I hated it because I ended up having to help look after my siblings. I believe that if you want all those children, the parents should take care of them. There are 11 of us.
