Anybody else have ungrateful adult child? They sometimes seem to think you owe them even if they are pretty easy to get along with.  Just take you for granted.

Yes, I have one of those.  Gets mad and cuts people off if they don't live up to his expectations.   My spouse and I didn't see or hear from him for 13 years.  Now we hear from him now and then.

BTW....wrong board :)

I have two adult children that I love and adore. My life revolves around them. My only regrets are that I cannot give them more and spend more time with them. They were all that I have ever wanted in life, my primary goal. I have rarely, if ever, judged them. I am sure that some people would say that they are spoiled and have taken advantage of me but if giving them everything I have had even a small part in their tremendous success, I am glad that they were spoiled. I have been blessed with so much in this life and my kids are at the top of that list. Sometimes their requests/needs can be a little inconvenient but life has its little inconveniences, these are a small price to pay and life would not be as fun if everything were perfect.

This is a nice topic but in the wrong board... we need to keep this board for offers only so it doesn't get cluttered and harder to find topics that are useful

It is really none of anybody's business.  If is your money and if you want to give it to your kids then that is for you to decide.

People see, or think they see things, and don't always know the whole story and want to judge other people.

I think more people need to mind their own business.

This is a nice topic but in the wrong board... we need to keep this board for offers only so it doesn't get cluttered and harder to find topics that are useful

What difference does it make?

For those who know how to use a Forum, it makes no difference whatsoever. I never even look at categories unless I want to make a post.

Oldbuddy  - I agree to an extent, however, my first stop is the boards in the morning to get a heads up on any new offers or to see if anyone is reporting glitches.  When I see a title that is clearly off-topic, I either take a moment to read (as I did today) or just keep looking.  It IS annoying when the title of a post leads me to believe it  IS a new offer only to find out it is something different.  No huge deal, but we do have different boards for different reasons.   That's just my perspective!

My first stop is to click on Unread Replies to follow up on previous comments I have made, then click the breadcrumb to go back to the Discussion Boards and click Unread Posts to scroll through anything new that might be interesting and finally click MARK ALL MESSAGES AS READ to clean the slate for next time.

I never look at the categories period.  If the topic interests me in the top list I see I click on it.  I see stuff in the wrong area all the time but don't care enough to tell the person.
