Have you ever gotten attached to another FC member?

There was a really nice member who used to be on here and posted every day or close to it.  Then she got sick but her daughter posted and said she was ill and asked for prayers.  She came back for awhile but then suddenly stopped being on here again and I can only assume she sucumbed to her illness. It was sad to me and although I never met her personally I thought she was a nice and positive  person and always looked forward to her posts.

I don't think I've ever gotten attached to anyone on here.  Although I can say there are faces and stories of regulars I've come to recognize. (debidoo you are one of them).  And naturally I have concern for those who express hardships.  I rejoice when those are celebrating.  I'm not attached though.

You do not know that she died. I do not think I remember who you may be talking about.

I know one person I have talked to other than this site and she use to be on here a lot.  She has not been on in a while nor responded to emails.  She had a lot going on and was trying to move.  People get busy with other things.

There are actually a few people I have noticed are not on here any more.

Never really got attached but did look forward to some of their post and have noticed that they have not been on for a while.

I think maybe attached was the wrong word to use - I guess I mean miss seeing their posts when they aren't on anymore or sense concern that they are not doing well.

I know who you are talking about.  She was battling brain cancer,and her posts suddenly stopped.

I never got attached to anyone on FC. I usually try to get my .22 cents and then I'm off for the day.

I have never gotten close to anyone on here. I do notice some of the names of people who post daily or almost daily.

I remember that poster you're talking about.  I wouldn't say attached but there are very few I actually remember that used to post.  I remember this really hateful one that thankfully got banned.  Just so negative and argumentative all the time.  There was another one I remember who was a young wife and mother I remember her mainly because she had her pic in her avatar.  She hasn't posted in a few years.  Another one I remember was a poster who couldn't write a decent sentence to save their lives.  They were pretty much illiterate it seemed and their posts were so confusing.

There is one person I have not seen in a while and I am curious s to what has happened to him.
