Pumpkin only belongs in certain things like pie, but i had chili the oher week with pumpkin in it and it was really gross.

I don't care for pumpkin all that much, but I certainly would not want a pumpkin fritter. That just sounds disgusting and messy. Pumpkin has that odd texture that would not go well in any pastry, except a pie shell.

mmm mmm. i love pumpkin - donuts, pies, muffins. now i'm going to look for a pumpkin fritter recipe...rolled in sugar crystals or, a glaze of sugar syrup
