Bath or Shower
« on: September 01, 2019, 08:58:56 am »
Up until my 20s, I took a bath regularly and liked them.  Somewhere around 30 years of age, I started taking showers for some reason, mostly, I think, because I could have one more easily and quickly.  Now, I think I might take a bath once every two or three years and definitely feel like I need to shower afterward to feel really clean.  However, I know a number of people who couldn't live without a tub, mostly women.  Which do you like the most and why?

Showers are faster and simpler but once in awhile a nice bath is worth the time.  The only thing I always end up taking a quick shower after a bath to rinse off anyway.

Once a week I treat myself to a bubble bath.  I have a jetted bathtub and it's so relaxing and when the jets hit your muscles it feels so good.

Shower definitely but I do wish I had one of those walk in tubs as my disabilities prevent me from getting into or out of a regular tub. I have a nice shower and a great teak shower chair so that is all I do.

It really depends on the situation. A shower is great for daily washups but baths are great for relaxing.

I would love to take an occasional bath, but it is hard for me to get in and out of the tub.  The last time I tried I fell.  Now I only take showers.

I only have a shower and not a bathtub.  I work out of town and most hotels have a tub so once in a blue moon I will take a bath especially if I am feeling achy which hasn't been in a long time thankfully.  I will shower first then run the bath because I don't like sitting in dirty water.

I'm a bit long to be sitting in a bath tub. It's honestly just uncomfortable. I dont really sit in things other than chairs and stuff haha the floor is so far away.  :D
