Fair Week

Our yearly fair just started.  I'm not going to any shows but we love to walk the fair and eat the foods.  Do you like going to fairs?

It depends on what type love the art and crafts type but can do without the ones with all the farm animals.  Went to Will County fair last week and it was small and finished it within a couple of hours.  Was just the right amount of time spent there.

When I lived in NC I had only gone to the state fair one time. I loved all of the fried fair foods!

I love going to the fair!  Our state fair of Texas opening day is September 27 and I can't wait to enjoy the rides and all the good food!

Haven't been to my state fair in several years.  It's kinda expensive.  I like the food though but it's expensive too.

I love fair food and visiting the farm animals.  In my younger years I loved the rides.

I have not been to our county fair in years.  It is not that big of a deal.  There is one about an hour from me that is a pretty huge deal but I have never been to it.

I dont really care much for them anymore, I spent my younger years showing horses and rabbits at the fair. But I cant resist a corndog from the fair every year :) But I dont go to the shows, or walk around, once in a blue moon if they have a skee ball booth I will play a couple $$ worth, I love skee ball :)

I haven't been to our county fair in about 15 years.  I greatly dislike the person heading the fair board so I refuse to patronize it.  The admission cost has gotten way to expensive and then there is very little to see or do inside the gates without shelling out more money.  I wait until the free festival held in October to get my fill on funnel cakes and corndogs.
Have a wonderful day!

I haven't been to a fair in many years and I really miss the corn on the cob and walking around seeing the sights.

Oh, yes, I love fairs! The problem is the crowds and the fact that I'm not getting around so well anymore. But I do love to taste the different foods, look at the different crafts, etc. It really puts me in the fall spirit!  :peace:

I haven't been to a fair in a long time either. I would love to go to one again some time.

We went to the state fair last month. We go every year, but it's been kind of disappointing lately. The food and drinks are getting so expensive, and most of them are not very good. And you have to go during the week, because the weekends are insane. They need to put a cap on the number of people they sell tickets to, because the lines to buy anything are way too long, and you can't see anything or get anywhere. We go out of tradition more than enjoyment now.

I don't really like fairs! They are dirty and stinky! But, they are ok. Not sure I would just go for fun!
