I was at work at Hill Air Force Base where there was a TV in the breakroom.  The security was seriously tightened on Base that day.
Have a great day!

I was asleep and phone rang, I ignored it and let it to voice mail.  Woke up an hour later and listened to voice mail and I turned on the tv and the second plane had already hit.

I had been outside working in the yard and had decided to take a break and turned on the TV. When the first plane hit the tower, ran out and  called my husband  to come in the house he arrived just as the second one hit.  I felt so bad for all  who lost their lives , not just the ones in the towers, the planes  but those who were on the ground fighting to save as many lives as they  could.

I was at work that day.  It quickly became surreal as everyone was drawn to the TV once the second plane hit.  As odd as it is to say that it seemed like some movie with special effects was on, that's exactly how you perceived what you were seeing at that moment.  It was incomprehensible!  But the incident drew people closer together as the horror unfolded, especially with further evidence of plans that went awry.

Thoughts are with those who lost their lives; it should never be forgotten.  :rose:
