Friday the 13th

It's no secret that today is Friday the 13th; specifically, September 13th 2019.

Do you consider yourself superstitious?

I'm not.  This is just another day for me.  No big plans but I will pay attention to see if I experience something interesting or unusual today.

I do; however, recognize that wild and crazy things happen when there's a full moon.  When I worked at the hospital it was common knowledge that the delivery rooms would fill up with pregnant ladies ready to give birth and there were "crazies" who would show up acting like they had both; mental and physical health problems.

Strange stuff.

I consider Friday the 13th my lucky day. Back in the day when pregnant women had to wait till delivery to find out the sex of their baby I wished for a baby boy and that's what I had. I was so excited. My grandmother asked me not to have my labor induced on a Friday the 13th. However I did it anyway and was so happy I did.

No not really, although I did have a car accident on a Friday the 13th

When I worked at a hospital, our psych ward would fill up during a full moon, and some were very, very seriously ill. They would be quite scary. 

I am a bit superstitious about Friday the 13th, but it's even worse  in combination with a full moon.

 I totally forgot it was today!  Guess that says how much it means to me.

No I do not perceive myself as superstitious because I believe that isn't in agreement with my spiritual beliefs with that said I agree some weird stuff happens during a full moon or say Friday 13th that I can't explain.

I don't believe in it.  Today we  did some yard work and will do more  Sat,  Our  school had a  parade for homecoming  andof course we are right out there  cheering them on.  Hope they win the foot ball game.  They did the last time  it  was held on the  13th.

While I was at Wal-Mart today shopping, I saw a Coca-Cola can with the name Jason on it. Thought it was very appropriate for today.

When I think of Friday the 13th, I think of Jason Voorhees, the horror movie franchise. But it can be a lucky day for a lot of people, good or bad.

I am not superstitous at all. My son was born on Friday the 13th and I could not ask for a better son. He is grown and Married with three children. He got his Degree and is a Machinist. He does not drink or do drugs. He works really hard to take care of his Family and I am so proud of him.

Over 50 + yrs ago i played hookey from school on that day and didnt get caught.

this was a good one too bc we had a harvest moon that night. i have always wondered about the 13th but i have never had anything good or bad happen to me or anyone i love on friday the 13th
