You ever Google yourself?  I'm sure you have.  I certainly have and I didn't like that I found my personal info on several sites like Spokeo, Mylife etc so I went through all those sites and had my info taken off.  Now when I Google myself nothing comes up.  There's a few people with my same name but I know my info is gone and I feel better.  If you want to get your info removed you have to go to each site and request to opt out.  There's a site I went to forgot which one but it lists all the people search sites and how to get your info removed.

Yeah I really don't like what you can find easily online, a lot of it like on spokeo is inaccurate, and yet maybe I would hate it more if it was accurate.

Wow it was very kind of you to share this information to help others.  It never occurred to me to do that or that it was possible so thanks for doing the leg work so to speak not just for yourself but all of us as well who don't want to see that our information is online.

I am going to have to check  it out. I don't really like  people  being able to  track  me down. Not that I have ever  done anything  wrong just don't like the idea. I do know there are a few people I  do not care to ever see again like an ex-husband, Just creepy thinking about it though.

I like when I search myself and I find basketball and school related things. It's also good when i'm looking to be published eventually for people to be able to find my work.

More stuff popped up on others with my name than on me.  Just facebook and twitter popped up.

I have had people become referrals because I was easy to find online, so I work on making it even easier.

Like Oldbuddy, I have made a lot of online friends and money from referrals because I was easy to find online. Good thing I have always been careful of what I post. Personal things are private. If you do any online business you have to be seen to make money.

I went to sites like those to do research for my family history, and i never went as far as to see what someone in my family is up too or their personal life history, some of those sites require money, so i don't see myself paying to find out my family members personal stuff, it's really nobody's business.  And I wouldn't want to either.

Yes, I have googled myself and wasn't happy that my family names and addresses were all listed. I will be contacting these websites to opt out AGAIN. I have opted out before but I guess it didn't go through..
