I love blue and some versions of purple.  I don't like the reddish hue of purple, used to be called eggplant, but other purples are good. I have blue kitchen counter and backsplash, blue grocery bags, blue & black purses, purple sweats., There is blue in the fishing paneling in the kid's room, and a bluish gray wood-look paneling in the master bedroom, blue carpeting in the living room an blue scatter rugs in the one bathroom and blue & beige vinyl flooring in both bathrooms (because it was cheap-lol). My living room furniture is "flowered" blue and beige.
