I have never been a pet person.  It's the same as having  a lot of children around.

I had a cat for 18 years that I was devoted to. He was really smart, would come in from outdoors when called, and he went to the bathroom on the toilet too. He was a very loving cat and was always sweet to the children even when they were doing things like pulling his tail. He finally died, though, and I never got another cat because I didn't think any other cat could replace him.

I love cats especially if they are loving and like to lay in your lap or beside you.  At one time between me and my daughter we had three cats.

We live in a condo development and a lot of the residents  here have cats in addition to the stray ones that I see roaming from time to time; one like to sit on our patio, I get tried of chasing him off; eventually he tends to leave on it;s own.

I love dogs but don't have any at this time because I don't have the time to give them the attention and love that they deserve!  :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog:

Sadly my dog just passed away.  He was 13 and we had for 12 years.  He down hill so quick in just 3 days.  He quit eating or drinking and had interest in anything.  I probably will never had another dog.  I cannot handle the pain of losing him.  He was family.

My mother must always have at least one cat. She would feel lonely if not for cats. I eventually plan to own a cat, and that will be when I have enough energy to do everyday deeds not just for myself. I couldn't imagine my love for cats as it is now if my mother didn't need any.

I have  black and white cat named Felix, he's two and very sweet. I've had him since birth. Thought about getting another cat but it gets expensive with the cat litter, food, vet.
