Yeah, I will, even if I have to walk there! But, I hope I don't. But, I probably will. At least some of the way, but probably a lot of the way!

The last time I shopped in a brick and mortar store on Black Friday, I had to repeat to myself, "My heart is filled with the Holy Spirit. My heart is filled with the Holy Spirit." It was very challenging to stay positive. So, NO, I will not be out and about on BF.

:turkey:I will shop online and may or may not buy anything. Staying away from the brick and mortar stores and malls though.   (I like to window-shop and look at all the stuff I can't  afford) lol      :turkey:

In our small town they only have two dept stores walmart, and t.j. max ,so when they have a black friday it is not very good selection .So it basically isn`t worth any of the headaches.Went to a black friday last year and spent more time in line then shopping no thank you.

lol.  The last time 2 times I went when the sales were actually on Friday, one year some jerk took a VCR away from me ( and the sad thing is there were at least 200 on pallets a few feet away).  Not sure what he thought he proved but oh well.  I just went and got another one.

Then the other time we were in the electronics dept and I was in the front so surrounded by people there was no where to go and no way out.  And this guy pushed another one.  Well he comes back with force and shoved him into the shelves behind him.  SO you got these 2 idiots fighting (and the items had not even been brought out yet) and there is no way to get away because all the people behind me were not going to move. This was a few years ago so it was before people got so violent.  So after that I decided it was not worth it.  Then hearing on the news all the stories where people were hurt or even trampled to DEATH because some bozo wanted to save a few dollars.  I would rather pay $3 more than deal with the madness.  I already have a good chunk of stuff bought.

I have gone to black friday before, and 1 year I was very short on budget, i had saved for about 3 months to give my girls a decent Christmas and I was able to get great deals and stay on budget.  This year I am not sure if I will go black Friday shopping or not, my girls are older now and I do not need to spend on them much anymore.  I guess it will be 50 50 chance

They never have anything to go for anymore.  If I go out it will be after Thanksgiving.

Nope, I never go out shopping on Black Friday.  Too many rude people and you can get deals all the way up to Christmas without having to deal with the crowd of people.

Personally, I prefer Cyber Monday.  I can do it from home and no crowds.

I stopped going to the malls about five years ago. If I need something from a the handful of unique, boutique stores (that do not have an online presence) or if deliveries from online shopping won't occur before the Holiday, I will pay my kids twenty dollars to go to the mall in my place. I go to the shopping mall, once a year, because they have a watch repair shop that is unparalleled as far as prices and service ( I have several watches). I may look to having my son do this for me in the future (I have given him a few of my watches). I think that it is sheer madness to go to the malls (during the Holidays) as they cannot stock the wide variety that can be found online, the crowds are crazy, sales attendants grumpy/pushy, sales tax is higher, the cost of driving exceeds online costs and parking is way too crowded.

Over all I have found more people being nice than rude.  Of course I have never went on Thanksgiving day or night when the super sales are happening and the stores only have 1 or 2 of the items advertised.  The way Walmart does it now it doesn't matter who gets there first at the time of the sale.  They pass out wrist bands earlier in the day and it is who ever has the band.  I do agree I would rather buy it online.  No dealing with the crowds.

I am not big on shopping to begin with and sitting in the cold for hours waiting for a store to open up does not appeal to me.  Not to mention crazy crowds.  I don't even do cyber Monday.
