Unfortunately (and sadly), I STILL do not know how to cook. Coincidentally, my mother was cooking for us on Friday; I stayed to watch so I could learn (which I rarely do)...and she told me to go back to bed! WAH!

My boyfriend is one of those traditional "home-cooked meal" type of guys. So now I have a reason to learn how to cook.

Not much, my husband still works and I am retired; our schedules are very different during the week; so I may throw something in the slow cooker on the weekend and just eat off that for a few days during the week. I have never enjoyed cooking!

It's just me and my daughter, so I cook every other day, eat leftovers from the day b4. Sunday dinner is always. I'm trying out new recipes lately, dinner and breakfast.

I made a pot of chili last week and just finished it off last night. My wife cook a lot and we eat leftovers, but watch for sales at local fast food places and eat there a couple times a week. NBA season is good with free Chicken Nuggets at McDonalds every time the Blazers score over 100 (which is most of the time).

Right now I'm in the process of selling my house so I'm living at my daughter's because I also keep her 4 year old son.  As soon as an apartment comes available I will be moving and then cooking for just myself.

I cook all the time. We like leftovers and I just made the most scrumptious meat loaf that will be gone as of today. I also made a tuna casserole for my mechanic cause he's one of my fav peeps and he totally digs tuna casserole.  :highfive:

I don't bake much though, but I'm motivated by the The Great British Bakeoff on television. However, I just can't abide all the stress they go through on that show. I just get a kick out of chocolate chip cookies that cause very little stress; unless you're out of milk at the time you want to eat them.  :sad1:

One of the hardest things I try to do is to cook for just 2.  Esp now that neither on of us has a big appetite.  I do a lot of freezing left overs.  By doing that some weeks I only cook 2 or 3 times a week.

I also do a lot of freezing left overs.  It is really handy when I don't feel like cooking, or run out of time.  I also take a lot of the pre-made (frozen dinners) I have made to my parents, who are not able to cook for themselves anymore.   They get a good home cooked meal, of foods they like and are familiar with so they do enjoy them.

We cook all the time.  And frankly, I like our homemade dishes better than restaurant fare.

I cook once in a while but I really want to get into it more often.

I love cooking. I'm not good at coming up with my own recipes, though. I like searching for good recipes online.

My husband and I both enjoy cooking.  We cook for ourselves and occasionally when we entertain guests.

It's always nice when we make things that can be wrapped in containers and put in the freezer for later use.

In our line of work, as business owners, we eat out regularly.  I enjoy that once in a while but right now it's more often than I'd like it to be.  I prefer making practical dishes in the comfort of my home.
