Is it a remake of The Shining?  Or does it just incorporate characters from The Shining?
I used to be an avid King reader but haven't read any of his books in a decade or so.

How was the movie? Was it worth watching?  Inquiring minds & all that...

No and if it is a Stephen King story, I probably wouldn't like it. :glasses-nerdy:

No, I haven't heard of it.  Was it any good?  If it is a scary movie, I won't watch it.
Have a wonderful day!

Since I watch movies to relax and feel good, Stephen King is not even on my list for consideration. Today I watched the Wizard of Oz and felt great afterward, even if they did kill a couple of witches.

I agree with you oldbuddy.  I like "feel good" movies.  I don't go to high suspense thrillers.

I saw it and my daughter saw it.  We both liked it.  I have not read the book, though, and one of the docs that my daughter works with had read the book and didn't like the movie.  I think I like to see the movie first and then read the book.  That way I won't dislike the movie as much and just like the book better.
