Busy weeks
« on: December 05, 2019, 10:12:48 am »
It has been one of those weeks where I had all of my December appointments in the first week which I really hate.  I like spreading them around so I don't have to go somewhere every single day.  Heart doctor, primary care, blood work, so on so forth oh well then the rest of the month will be a breeze.  Do you hate having someone where to go every day?  I am retired so I am now lazy always wanting to just hang out at home.

Yes they sure are!  I have to still get a few last minute gifts.  Happy Holidays!

This is the busy time of the year for a lot of people.  Along with the rest of regular stuff going on, there is a ton of other stuff to get done before the end of the year :)

I think  is just always a busy time of the year, gift shopping, doctor appointments and just trying to tie up loose ends before the new year; just try and build in some me time for yourself.

That sounds very busy! I also hate when I have different appointments every day in a short period of time.

I think that December has always been the busiest time of the year for me. I schedule my final dentist/Doctor visits, get my cars set for the new year, go shopping for the Christmas Holiday, prepare the house for visiting family and two of my jobs have their fiscal year ending on the thirty first of December which calls for additional reporting. All this and I need to analyze my year's accomplishments and determine what my new goals for the upcoming year will be. I always try to raise each goal by ten percent if it is a quantifiable goal and right down steps (with deadlines) for all of my goals. I have some big trips planned for next year and some larger than normal investments to procure. I also want to make sure that all of the needs of my family are met.

That is easier said than done this time of year.  But I do try to make some time for myself.

I usually try to space my doctor and dental appts. so that I only have to go to one per week. I don't drive any more so my hubby has to drive me to them and wait for me to come out. Most of the time, the doctors are late so he has to wait quite a bit and I hate making him do that.

I know what you mean.  I have to see my oncologist, pulmonary doctor, and cardiologist every 3 months, plus get blood work.  They are all in the one hospital building.  Sometimes I feel like I’m living there.

I'm still waiting for the usual slow down that occurs in January.  It's now December and it hasn't happened yet...  This has been one of my busiest years ever.
Have a wonderful day!

Fortunately, I have the kind of life where if I do have an overly busy life I can schedule what I call a free day.  Being busy makes me feel productive, but I too dislike that worn down feeling.

Resolve to pamper yourself more in 2020 on the days when you don't have much to do.  I started my goal actions for the new year in October and other than getting out more, that included face masks, feet soaks, nail polish, and caring for my natural hair more.

It has been super busy for me these last couple of months. After next week it is going to start to slow down. When the holidays finally come, I am just going to sit at home a relax.

I think everyone is in the Holiday mood so that they will have a clear calendar of no appointments after a certain date.  I know that is how I would do it.
