Have you seen any really good movies lately?

I saw Downton Abbey a few weeks ago and loved it. Now I am on the lookout for some other movie that might be really good too. Got any suggestions?

Parasite is definitely a really good one I mean...i honestly can't type to give the movie justice but I highly recommend it.

I would love to see the Downton Abbey movie. I was a huge fan of the TV show. The only other movie I would be slightly interested in is The Joker with Joaquin Phoenix. He is a really great actor. But I'm just afraid that it might be a little too dark for me, since I battle depression anyway. Don't need dark thoughts in my head if I can help it, LOL!  :peace:

I saw the Irishman in movie theater the other day. It was so super good I could not believe it. They sure don't make movies like that anymore.

I saw A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood with Tom Hanks. Not the best movie but it was okay.

I haven't.  I really wanted to see IT 2, but didn't get a chance.  Hoping it comes to our cheap seats theater.

Last movie I watched was "US" ... it's not really a horror movie, maybe a thriller?   It was good, the actors were well cast especially the dad who brought some levity to the situation.  I guessed the "twist" of the ending in like the first 10 minutes -- but it was worth a watch if you're into these sort of movies :)

I haven't seen a *new* good movie in some years, it feels like. Have to go back a couple decades to get to the good ones.

I haven't been to the movies since last year. I would love to see the new Star Wars movie. We are in the financial strain right now with the holidays around the corner. So maybe we can go once we catch up.

I was finally able to sneak away and see the Joker with my son yesterday. It worked out good because it is now in the second tier movie theaters and only cost three dollars. I was hoping that I had not been hyped up to much and the movie did not let me down. My high expectations were met and than some. I am thinking the Joaquin Phoenix definitely needs an Oscar nomination. We were going to see Zombieland two in the same theater but my son was zonked out. Zombieland Two had some bad reviews and I fully expected to be seeing it in tier two movie theaters. There are a bunch of movies that came out this week and I am pretty sure that I will join my family in going to see a few new releases. I have off until January sixth (from my day time job) and am going to hit my other two jobs a little harder.
