When I first started using computers I went with the Gateway desktop.  It had windows and I believe it was Windows XP.  Anyway, it was fine for a while then I started to get malware and viruses.  Even though the system was cleaned up, my confidence in what I had was never the same.

About the same time I met many people who have Apple computers, both desktop and laptop.  Everyone, and I mean everyone, spoke very highly of the Apple brand.  My husband and I have been using Apple products across the board for years and we love them.

They are not cheat but they are the very best in my opinion. We have multiple devices and have never had any issues with any of them whatsoever. I would never have anything but Apple.

I've had Dell and I like it but I've never had an Apple so I can't say whether  it is better or not.   Right now I have an HP and I like it.  My spouse has a Lenovo and it seems more difficult to me.

Plenty of good brands out there to choose from.  I've had HP, Acer and currently use as Lenovo (ThinkPad) and all were good for the purpose I need them for.  I don't have any Apple products except for an IPad and from that experience I don't want an Apple product.  My IPad is works fine but it's old (gen3) and the software is no longer supported so I can't download any apps or update the current apps I have and that sucks because I feel like they are forcing me to buy another one. I didn't buy the one I have now but I don't want to have to buy a new one when mine works fine.  So for me I'd chose anything else but Apple.

I've had ACER and HP.  Both have been good to me for a laptop.

I have used both desktops:Dell and Apple. Both are very different and they can be used for different types of work.
I personally prefer Apple desktops because they are very reliable.
I do not know anything about their laptops.

I like a Dell, but if you have an Apple phone you would like the Apple computer.  I have an Apple tablet, but I do not like it.

i have had a lot of computers..no macbooks...had looked into an apple tablet..but they are expensive..i guess it would depend on what your uses are for it...me i dont do gaming, maybe a fb game..im more into saving files on crafts and recipes..but i do not like acer..the ones i have had were fine, but they were not very durable..keyboard letters come off and have to have keyboard replaced...

I'm not sure which is better, but we've always been a Dell or Acer family. We never really invested in Apple products, probably because my husband and I are old and set in our ways, LOL! I've heard a lot of good things about both, though I have also heard that there's not as many games configured for the Apple computer, if that's something you're interested in. Of course, that might not even be true. Good luck, whatever your decision!  :peace:

We have a a Dell laptop for awhile and it has been good; however I also have an Apple I-pad and and I-Phone and I love them; for me as long as the technology   does what I need it to do; I am good.

I have had several laptops.  My favorites are Toshiba and now I have a Dell.  I really liked the Toshiba, but could not get another one when I needed one so I got the Dell.  I like the Dell too.

Well, the question is Dell or Apple and I've never really been a fan of Apple products so gonna have to say Dell. Personally, I had an Acer which was working for a while until I switched to Asus which is going on strong for me. I'd recommend one of those.

I have had (and currently have) both. I've drifted away from the Dell and over to the Apple, but there are pros and cons for each. You will spend a lot less money on the Dell, if that is a big concern. But having an iPhone, I like the compatibility with the Mac laptop. Also our Mac is much more portable than the Dell I have. Both are laptops, but the particular Dell I have is much larger and heavier.
