I'm taking a trip somewhere the low will be down in the teens and that's about twenty degrees lower than I've ever felt! What's the coldest you've felt?

I grew up in Illinois, so I've felt the below 0 weather before. Of course, that's when I was a kid and teenager, and I've lived in Georgia for the past 41 years. Now I'd probably freeze in even the weather you're talking about, LOL! Bundle up and stay warm!  :peace:  :snowman:

Northern Minnesota, 1996. I think it was -44˚F, not including the windchill. The record low in MN that winter was -60˚F in Tower. Fortunately, I wasn't there at the time.  :o

I think -30s here is the lowest I remember.  Gets colder than that with windchill but actual was -30.

35 degrees Fahrenheit was probably the coldest temperature I have personally/directly felt...and that is while I am living in the South (and I am originally from New York). I hope to never experience that again, unless I am enjoying it from the comfort of my warm house. :)

In the early 60's I went to Arizona with an Army buddy to visit his parents in Ajo and his brother in Tuscon, but on the way back we went through Flagstaff where it was 38 below zero. The car heater was blowing cold, so we had to wrap up in blankets and didn't dare turn the motor off when we stopped to buy some food in a convenience store. We tried to buy some cold drinks from a machine, but the soda froze and the cap was sticking up from the bottle an inch or so.

Several times in Minnesota in the 90's, schools were closed across the whole state due to extreme cold temperatures plus the added windchill.

-30 to -60 depending on area of state.

I was born in Alaska, but only there til I was 2. So even though it was extremely cold there I don't remember it. But I grew up in Wisconsin and the winter of 83/84 we had a lot of very cold temps, one night was -60 with an even colder windchill. I remember my mom having to call into work because the car wouldn't start. And our furnace going out the same night. It was a very cold night.
