My true hobby is making money online (here and other websites too), but I do enjoy traveling and a couple of fishing trips a year. This summer I brought home 35 pounds of Sockeye Salmon fillets from Alaska and a couple of weeks later my friend dropped off 10 pounds of Halibut. If I have good results from the Angiogram I have next week, I plan to do a little bottom fishing for Sea Bass and Ling Cod this spring. I haven't been for a few years, but here is a video of a good trip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJyyZvBuK64

I'm jealous. We used to take charter deep sea fishing trips every few months for years. it was a family affair and split the costs of the boat. Now, however, with the limits on fish and health problems with us, we haven't been out for a couple years. not even the head boats make fishing worth it. Striped bass is a limit of 1 or 2.  Hubby and son went on a trip for Cod a few years back but even the limit on those fish now make them too expensive by the lb. We love fish but it's not affordable anymore, not even in the store. Salmon, hubby's favorite on sale, is over $9 lb. unless I want to buy the Chinese frozen portions . No thank you. I want fresh fish. We love King Crab legs but they're $16 lb. and ocean scallops $8 lb., too, but.....  It's crazy!
Taking a fishing trip to come out ahead on the fish is ancient history now. That 35 pounds of Salmon cost over $600 in travel, so that alone came to $17 a pound, but it was well worth it to me. I spent a week with my son, had a blast fishing and ended up with higher quality fish to eat than you can buy anywhere. The charter boat was a little better, since it was $110 and 5 crab would have cost me $135 alone.

Gardening and photography I guess are my main ones, but I like just learning about all sorts of things on the internet even if it's skills I'll never use.

Oh, I got off the track. Anyway, i used to grow a herb garden until I couldn't get down to the garden because of the uneven ground. So, I'm hoping hubby will take an old wheelbarrow and fill with soil so I can grow some herbs and maybe a vegetable or two this year now that I'm getting around better.

My most favorite hobby is genealogy.I've been working on my family, my husband's family, my son's family, for years.  In between, I've also done it for friends and used to do some for money.  It's so much easier now to find info than it was when I first started. Then it was visiting every historical society, library, court house, churches and newspapers for documents. I have my dad's side back to 1709 on both paternal and maternal,"half" my mom's paternal side back to 1700s while her paternal side has been a brick wall for years. My husbands maternal side only back to the mid-1800s, and his maternal side back to early 1800s. They were latecomers to the U.S.  My son's paternal side is slower taking shape while is grandparents are hiding for now but I'm not pushing hard on it.

i used to have an herb garden as well....i think mine was alittle different than your though if you know what i mean hahaha

I was about to say I love to read but honestly I haven't been doing as much reading as I'd like to; my mind is kinda in overdrive these days.  I would like to start a tomato garden this year and get a puppy.

If I'm not on my computer or cell phone, I like to read or just relax and watch my favorite programs on TV.  I also love to look at cookbooks.

I read a lot, although I haven't much time these days. I'm also an avid coin collector.
