I used to like the Oscars years ago.  There were so many more movie personalities that I really liked back then.  Nowadays, there are only a few people that I care for and I haven't been following any of the new movies so, no, I will not be seeing this program tonight.

I always wondered if your username had anything to do with volleyball.  Know I know.  It's such a great game.  I hope you have a good time.

No.  I'm so over award shows & the Hollywood hypocrites preaching... yawn.  Good on them for achieving in their field, but I don't need to see it.

I do like to catch the fashion, which will be all over the internet tomorrow :)

Maybe, maybe not.  If another show that I like is on at the same time, then no.

Nope. I find all award shows to be quite boring.

I used to watch the Oscars a long time ago but then I stopped. I guess I don't watch many (if any) movies anymore, so I stopped knowing who a lot of the actors were and if they were the best of the best or not. Also, I'm not a big fan of anything but fictional TV like dramas and comedies and the like.  :peace:

I have the Oscars on in the background this evening.  This year does appear to have some interesting nominees, although admittedly I don't go to the movie theaters that much anymore.

I did intend to see Bombshell before the Oscars, but haven't yet.  I'm particularly interested in how the events at FOX were scripted for this movie because I was watching FOX News very closely in 2016, actually remembering the very moment Gretchen Carlson took a stand and left the air.

Even though it was a part of Megyn Kelly's past as an associate attorney in the '90s (working for Bickel & Brewer LLP's Chicago office before leaving and searching for her next opportunity) I also worked for Bickel & Brewer LLP (the home office in Dallas) on a high-profile case for Bill Brewer in '95, later turning down another case offered to me out of their Chicago office.  I've since read the excerpt from her book about those times and had a great chuckle.  Hmmm...maybe I should not have turned down that case?  But, seriously, I was burned out by the case I had worked on.
