Increasing Your Savings

With the economy being the way it is, I am interested in hearing how you are increasing your savings.

I had one financial planner tell me to always pay myself first (meaning put money into my savings account).  If you're short by the end of the month, you can always dip into your savings.  I set up automatic transfers to my savings account and those amounts are in my budget and not to be touched.

I have a job.  I do GPTs.  I put this money into a bank account and have the willpower not to spend it
